A response years later, but this is incorrect. Article I. Sec. 9, 2. is a limitation on the general government, not the states. If it were, it would appear in Section 10 and begin, "No state shall..." This is reinforced by the presence of Article IV, section 2. which guarantees the right of transit and sojourn with slaves throughout the Confederacy. It would be a meaningless law if every state was required to be slave states. On the territory question, since territories were held in common by the general government, they were the authority as long as it was a territory. Finally, we know all this because there were calls to make state slavery mandatory that didn't make it it into the constitution. The most fire-breathing newspaper, the Charleston Mercury pouted precisley because the constitution didn't explicitly bar free states from joining the confederacy.

Mattel is not advocating self-defense. The company would never make a gun-toting, Gun Owners of America member Barbie. No, Mattel created a female doll covered in an Islamic hijab to promote her submission to Allah, the Islamic faith, the Qur’an, and her male Islamic relatives/religious police.

Hello All. 52 year old white male here. I very much appreciate the discussion here as it directly applies to my situation. It looks as though I may be the only one posting, post-covid. And we can probably all attest how much worse this country (USA) has become just the past few years. My town in NJ has been historically white, working class, albeit bordering a notoriously ghetto city (always a top contender on the national crime polls). During covid, many of my neighbors fled for other states (Florida in particular). But the incoming demographics changed drastically in 2021/2022. For example, a family of 4 (husband/wife both in their 30's, and two small children, maybe 4 and 6) moved in across the street. If I had to guess I'd say they're Dominican. Nice people. I made an effort early on to introduce myself and help them with cutting some small trees down when they first moved in as an act of good faith. They can barely speak English, but they both have jobs and keep their place looking nice. I couldn't have asked for much more. The problems came about 6 months after they settled in. That's when 4 additional adults moved into their roughly 800SF cape cod-style home with an attached garage. Now there are 4 grown men (ranging from 20-50 y/o) and 2 grown women (the one mentioned before, at about 30, and possibly her mother, at about 50) And in addition to the 2 kids, she just had a newborn a few weeks ago. So 6 adults and 3 children sharing 800 square feet. I now have blacks on both immediate sides of me; directly across the street from me; the Dominicans diagonally across from me; Guatamalan/Mexicans two doors down; and in the blink of an eye, my kids' middle school and high school are at least 50% minorities. I can't stand it. Not because I'm overtly racist, but because there are nothing but fights almost every day in my kids' schools, predominantly between black girls. And the retired (white) principal of the middle school and his vice principal were replaced recently with a black principal and a black vice principal. There has been a concerted effort by the communist powers of this state (and further upstream in the federal govt) to proactively integrate "minorities" into our town. It doesn't work now, and it's not going to work any better in the future. I desperately want to move my family out of here but we've got a few things holding us back, financially and for family reasons (aging elderly parent). I deeply hate Biden with every fiber of my being and want to see him rot in hell, along with his puppeteer Obama & Co, but until then, I have to ensure my wife and kids remain safe with very watchful eyes. I have two daughters in their teen years. Being surrounded by illegal immigrant men is unnerving. I'm well armed (as a former marine sgt!). But here in NJ, it's the homeowner who pays the price if he uses deadly force to protect his property. I've always hated this state, but I married a Jersey girl and now I'm stuck with her (lol). I wish I could have gotten us out of here a long time ago. Thanks for posting this article. There aren't many out there bold enough to touch on this subject, but I believe white conservatives are all thinking the same thing.

I cant even search online for a location where primarily whites live. Results are all Google-skewed into racism stories and that one town in Africa (that seems to be doing better than the entire country itself). i moved away from the city, only for the city and its prevelant non-white commissioners, to build it right up to my backyard fence. What once was a beautiful parcel of ranch land is now a residential property of high value homes purchased by foreigners and other non-tax paying entities. The cartels buy these properties, establish a halfway house there for incoming illegals, and often times you can find them in your own neighborhood; the houses with 15 cars up front and in the street. I hate this country now.

We are either all-in as Christian's or we aren't. Seems Ehud missed the, "Seek first My Kingdom, and all will be added to you." We don't have to fear what it means to live, function, and govern in that Kingdom. But we have to be headed there —not tearing men down that are pointing the way (back to Christ and His Kingdom). Seems Ted is on point from my research. Seems he know's who his King is (and respects His laws).

Though quite a Bible enthusiast, I am more secular, 'Alt Right' on the subject of eugenics. That includes abortions, euthanasia, court-ordered tubal ligations and vasectomies, the death penalty, etc.
Humans are justified in everything, and I mean everything, by faith, and faith alone. Not following any principle, or rule, or law, or directive. These things are complex, multiple, contradictory, complementary.
Given the paucity of scriptural guidance, as applicable to the modern world, I think there is a wide range of acceptable policy, and individual actions, which are acceptable if pursued under God's guidance and asking the Almighty.

The seed of the foolish and the wicked may be cut off. We do not have to abide their company or even their existence. The entire Book of Proverbs is laid around these subjects.
Asking the lower classes to practice celibacy is a pious wish, which will not realize. We will have to do something to deal with the consequences of it.

Your analysis is rich in knowledge, timid in faith and solutions.
Faith and wisdom are allies.
Wisdom is complemented by faith, and faith is nothing without wisdom.
Secular might not be the right word. All I mean is that we should seek the continued guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Any "savior" that'd arbitrarily cast someone misled by RC theology into Eternal Fire is an oxymoron; being with such a capricious Judge would not be "Heaven". Fortunately the Jesus Christ that I know isn't like that.

How many did his tracts "save"? Probably FEW. A man either turns his heart to Jesus out of love and appreciation for what was done for him, not out of THREATS from some "Cosmic Jerk". While his style was rollicking and at times even humorous, there's just something that tells me this man was DERANGED.

My greatest concern for America is an emanant centralist tyranny and a forthcoming holocaust. At this present moment the US stand in the same place Germany did back in 1918-22. America exited the 20 plus year "war against terrorism" only to commit the same financial sins of the Weimar Republic. US inflation levels may actually make it to that point before long. During the period in Germany, the Jews were being blamed for the sins of the country in virtually every school and media form. In today's America, like Germany, never mind the fact of the US outsourcing its production base, while consequently causing the system to fail and generate such gross systemic negativity; according to today's UN endorsed American National Socialist spin doctors, it's the Anglo-Saxon race who is the scape goat for all present magisterial, financial, and social failures. They will simply twist the historical facts and rewrite every school history book so every future generation will have the proof in hand to explain the coming persecution. We'll give the new American National Socialist lie an intelligent, legitimate sounding title; they are smiling as they tell us. Let's call it Critical Race Theory, and when enough of these dim-witted groundlings discover the truth, we'll give it a more humanist label while we keep on coming after them.

Been a long time, but H.L. kinda glosses over the fact that the 'Reconstruction' as occurred was nowhere near what Ol' Abe had proposed. Kinda changes the atmosphere when you get down to it.

You're wrong on many levels. Race is a perfectly valid taxonomical category. It simply means "sub-species". There are races of dogs and men. Dogs can interbreed (I think; most of them, anyway); does that fact mean there aren't recognizable dog breeds? The ability of races to interbreed means all humans are part of the same species, Homo sapiens; this doesn't negate the existence of races (which, moreover, are recognizable via DNA, and which correlate with statistically regular patterns of behavior when the population being examined is sufficiently numerous).

The fact that what separates the races genetically is very small (by what standard? what does "small" mean in this context?) is not meaningful. What separates humans from chimps is comparatively "small", too - but that little bit makes a huge difference from a "human eye" perspective.

Finally, what is horrific about Arab immigration into Europe is not limited to, or even primarily about, Islam. It is about Arab settler-colonizer "underclass" behavior: high crime, high welfare benefits use and abuse, both passive and active cultural aggression against their host nations - and above all, the fact that they are alien colonizers who do not belong in white Christian Europe, and whose very presence is diluting and destroying the indigenous peoples and their 'thick', beautiful, ancient ethnocultures, as well as, collectively, threatening Western Civilization and white racial survival.

Augustine was almost certainly white as would be understood today. Once upon a time, the whole Middle East and north Africa were white. The ancient Greeks were white (they still are, but much darker). The genes for whiteness are recessive; thus the white race has been becoming ever less pure (less blonde, less fair-skinned) for millennia. The ancient Mediterranean world was basically white, but due to millennia of admixture with blacks (see, eg, ancient vs contemporary Egypt) and other peoples, it has come to be now nonwhite.

I do agree that we should not now today classify North Africans as white, because very very few are racially (and none are culturally).

You are correct, except I really don't like the term "White"
Race is actually a social construct not a biological. When I was in College to become an RN, DNA research had not come along as far as it has today, they had not sequenced the human genome yet. Now that they have sequenced the genome & have grouped them into haplotypes they find that what separates us is only a very small percent of our genome.

When I worked in Labor & Delivery we had to fill out the info for the baby birth certificates. The only 3 racial groups were Asian (which was once called Mongoloid but was changed bc it was offensive) Negroid (which some found offensive so more started using the term African) & Caucasian. I've been out of the field for years so I don't know what they are doing now that race has become such an issue.

I actually prefer the term Caucasian bc there are really no "White" people. White is the color of this page. Skin tones for Caucasians range from pale, peach colored, Olive tones for some Mediterraneans such as Italians & Greeks & Brown for some Arabs. Everything is on a continuum so when do we draw a line & say this person's skin tones indicate they are now in the ___ range while their parents who are either lighter or darker are in the ___?

Caucasians normally have straight hair but there are many Caucasians who have curly hair.
When does hair cross over the curly Caucasian range to the sort of curly that is often seen in Biracial children? Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis among others are starting to use the term "People groups" which I think is much more appropriate. I hate today's obsession w/race but having taken so many Science courses, I feel we must be accurate & as a lover of History, we need to preserve it not rewrite it.

I've always had a keen interest in Egypt & Egyptians so I've gotten into many discussions & some arguments w/African Americans who say the Egyptians were "Black"

There were "Black" Egyptians under the 25th Dynasty which were ruled by Nubians who had captured the country, but even most Egyptians today do not categorize themselves as "Black" in the way that true Black characteristics are seen in Sub Saharan Black people. There is an article in Nature where Geneologists were able to obtain ancient DNA from Egyptian mummies which showed that these ancient Egyptians were more aligned genetically with the Near East & Levant than modern Egyptians due to the Arab Trans-Saharan Slave Trade which brought many Sub Saharan Africans into Egypt.

The gentleman "White Family" is not correct bc Augustine's time was hundreds of years prior to the Trans Saharan Slave Trade.

My understanding of the problems with North African mass immigration into Europe (not being European) was their religion of Islam more than their racial identity. I have no problems with anyone's race but having lived across the street from Muslims & having seen how they treated their wives & daughters I do have a problem with some Muslims. Most Muslims who are interviewed want to have Sharia Law elevated above the law of their adopted nation. There's a term called "Islam's Bloody Borders"

The Quran is clear about people who aren't Muslim are inferior to Muslims, have less rights & can be treated differently. Islam means "Submit" or "Submission" which is what the majority want other people of other religions to do. If I were that gentleman, I'd worry a whole lot more about the North African's religion than their race but that's me.

A very sobering series. Thank you for this. We have two adopted children. My wife was unable to conceive. We faced the issue of adopting out of our race. We requested that the child be white or biracial as at the time I had not thought of these issues above. I had hoped that the child would be white as I thought it would be uncomfortable for the child to always be a "rescue baby". That way they could reveal their adoption whenever they saw fit - it wasn't forced on them. We have two children now who look to be our own in appearance. I feel blessed by that.

When we were in Christian adoption circles, most were openly seeking non white children. I thought it was strange and they seemed to use these children as tokens of virtue although I am sure their motivations were mixed with charity and worldy approval.
